Jennifer Wheatcroft is...
A passionate financial consultant, a single mom, a cancer warrior, and a problem solver. She has been in the finance industry for 12 years, and she really loves what she does!
She has seen firsthand the positive impact that having a financial plan can have on a family, as well as the negative impact when they don’t. When she was 29 her dad passed away, leaving behind a life insurance policy. While she would do anything to have her dad back, the life insurance allowed her to have time to grieve and put a down payment on a home so she could start building her life….something her dad really wanted to see while he was alive.
Jennifer has also seen what a lack of planning can do to a family. When she was 8 she was diagnosed with childhood leukemia and spent 3 years making trips to Sick Kids Hospital and undergoing chemotherapy. Her mother was unable to work during this time, which caused a lot of financial hardship for the family. Should her parents had had critical illness insurance for her, a lot of the financial burden would have been alleviated.
In her experience with clients, she has encountered several situations where people were unaware of looming crises. She has been able to correct issues and educate families before it was too late. Jennifer has made it her mission to make sure that everyone that she sits with, their financial house is solid. No matter what, while you’re living, you will have the confidence that everything is going to be ok, and your family will be ok after you’re gone. Jennifer will show you how to leave a legacy behind that you can be proud of!
